I am back in Singapore! It’s been a crazy few weeks, and I’m still recovering from jet lag, one reason I haven’t posted much recently or sent out an email.

My Granddad on my mother’s side passed away a few weeks ago while I was still in Australia. His health had been deteriorating for a few months, but it was still a shock. So I bought an air ticket to be home for the funeral and memorial service. He was the only grandfather I’ve ever really known, and it was wonderful to be home to celebrate the life of this wonderful man with family.

I didn’t have time for much else, so I apologize if you wanted to see me and didn’t get the chance. You can always visit me in Singapore!

I’m getting back into the swing of things here, sorting my data a bit and getting ready for a trip to India over the summer. And of course reconnecting with people here. The weather’s been tropical but not too hot.
